James P. Lewis

James P. Lewis, Ph.D., CIC was an electrical engineer for 15 years, engaged in developing communications equipment. In 1981 he left his corporate job and founded the Lewis Institute, a training and development company. Until 2016 he traveled more than 3.5 million miles teaching seminars on leadership, management, and communications to 60,000 individuals in 30 countries. He earned a doctorate in psychology in 1986 and became a certified Integral Coach in 2009. From 1991 until 2011 he published 11 books through McGraw-Hill and AMACOM on project management and related topics. Jim has been a student of the Infinite Way and other spiritual disciplines for more than 60 years, and has become a teacher in his own right. His first book on metaphysics is Portal to Infinity, published in a Kindle format on October 30, 2020. Jim lives in Asheville, North Carolina with two cats. He enjoys playing the guitar and fiddle, and the beauty of the surrounding mountains. He is available for speaking and teaching engagements either online or in person.
