James T. Palmer

James Palmer is a historian and Professor of History at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. Hailing from the East Midlands, he studied at Sheffield and Cambridge, and then held posts at the universities of Leicester and Nottingham, before his move north. He has published widely on early Frankish, Anglo-Saxon, and Viking history.
