James Totten

James was born in 1967 in Lawton, Oklahoma, and raised in Electra, Texas. In 1987 he enlisted in the US Army as a heavy anti-armor weapons infantryman. James finished his career after 23 years of service as an Infantry officer. His duty positions included every leadership position in an Airborne and Stryker Infantry Company. His career took him all across the globe, with assignments to North Carolina, Washington, Colorado, Germany, Italy, and Louisiana. James participated in operational deployments to Bosnia, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Hobbies and interests include being a part-time shade tree mechanic, an amateur gunsmith, and a fiction writer using his military experience to add realism to his stories. James currently resides in the Pacific Northwest and participates in a love-hate relationship with Seattle sports teams.
