Jamie R Cole

Jamie Cole is a retired service member of the US Army. Her undergraduate degree is in Business Management and her graduate degree in Library Information Science. She has taught elementary and junior high, was a public-school librarian, and now enjoys retired life. She finds much pleasure in volunteering at the local library and nursing home and finds ways to show her support for her family and community. She currently has two children’s books published, with three more books in that series to be completely published by 2024. There are many other books on the horizon for her, but currently, she is enjoying going around to schools and libraries to share her story of Jake (and Shay) with children to help advocate and educate others about service dogs for veterans.
