Jan Gleiter

Jan Gleiter is the author of the award-winning Lie Down with Dogs, a number of biographies for the youth market, rhymed instructional books for beginning readers, Words to Go--a vocabulary acquisition program for grades 6-8, and This Is a Test: A Handbook for Writing Good Tests. She lives in Chicago, Illinois, where she writes English language arts and assessment materials for use in education. She reads what people say about her books and determines who is brilliant and who is a few fries short of a Happy Meal.
