Jane M. Howard Turner

My name is Jane M. Howard Turner, and for many years, I longed to be an author. Several years ago, my mother, Thelma L. Taylor, had a dream and she asked me if I thought it would make a good book for children. I told her yes! Because it was my mother, I tried to do my very best to create a book both children and parents would like. We worked together on each book to create the series. That first book about a little bird that did not want to learn how to fly was titled, "I Can Fly." One of our main characters was named Raymond Red Bird. After he overcomes his fears, he wanted to travel to faraway places. Those different adventures became each new book and our series became, The Adventures of Raymond Red Bird. Now I want to introduce our newly released book titled, "New Shoes for Eisha." This short story is about a young girl named Eisha and the dilemma that her parents find themselves in. Would they keep a promise they made to their daughter or would they teach her a valuable lesson instead? This book is available on Amazon as an ebook and we also offer a printed version.
