Janet Margot has been fortunate to work in media and publishing for 20+ years, including roles at companies like Condé Nast, Lonely Planet and Village Voice Media before landing at Amazon Ads. There, first as a marketer, she drove adoption and growth for publishers and authors before leading the book advertiser experience as product manager. Since then, she has worked on other book tech platforms exploring how algorithms can address business needs and customer discovery challenges. Janet now runs Book Geeks Media, a consultancy aimed at supporting authors and publishers. She enjoys helping clients navigate the publishing landscape, with a particular interest in optimizing their presence on Amazon. Beyond the business of books, she enjoys live music, traveling, and writing fiction under pen names.
