Let me introduce myself. My full name is Janina Spruza. But all my friends call me Jana. I am from Latvia. Now I am living in La Manga, Spain, in the one of most beautiful Spanish golf resort. For more than twenty years I have been working as a professional marketer and copywriter. Now – I am the author of kids golf books, publisher and founder of the Cooolgolf brand. Also I am founder of huge internet community "Kids & Junior golf", the biggest kids golf group on Facebook. It all started with the first book. This was a children’s book called “PAR vs. Hole-in-One. The rescue of the Great Golf Four”, a true sports fairy tale about golf – a game, adored the world. The fact is that I am the mother of a little golfer Stefan who became the prototype of one of the book’s characters and he is the author of the visualization of the main characters. Stefan really loves golf. He chose this sport himself, without pressure and forcing from our side, his parents. The second chapter tells us how the idea of this book was born. And the statement on the cover of the book is completely honest: “Partly based on real events”. The plot appeared from my most ordinary dream. Just do not think anything wrong. I am a normal, adequate person. It’s just that my son’s hobby, golf, has influenced the life of our family and in particular mine so much that even in a dream there is no place left for anything else. As a matter of fact, you will agree, that almost every day, or to be exact, every night there can be a dream, that will become a plot of a fairy tale. Unless of course you manage to remember it. I was lucky. I remembered that amazing dream in which I saw a real fairy story with all possible characters and their adventures, so I complemented it and put it on paper. Everyone who read my story liked it very much, which gave me great joy and inspired me for further “feats”. That’s how I got my idea to make a modern, beautiful, incredibly bright Encyclopedia of golf to interest, motivate and inspire children around the world to play golf. Following the Encyclopedia there was a coloring for the little ones, which provided every child with the opportunity not only to learn everything about golf, but also to color the world of golf in their own colors. At this moment my books are translated in French, German, Chinese and Italian languages.
