Jannell Joosse

Jannell’s passion for story telling began as a young child. She enjoyed writing short stories, skits, and holiday plays for family and friends. Her passion for writing and theater continued to grow as she later wrote and performed short skits for a church in North Pole, Alaska. Jannell also went to school and performed in plays at the University of Fairbanks, Alaska and participated in the Fairbanks Drama Association. Jannell is the mother of two and happily married. Her family currently resides in Arkansas, the natural state, where they enjoy the many bike trails, hunting for diamonds, and taking in all four seasons Arkansas offers. In 2020 Jannell found herself with a lot of time on her hands. She started writing and wrote her first children’s book, inspired by her Daughter Daphne and her love of shapes. Jannell wanted to create a book for Daphne that would encourage her to seek out the shapes in her world. Jannell also began creating baby books to give out during baby showers, birthdays, holidays and more, to help her gifts stand out from others. She now has a line of “Baby’s First” books. Jannell is currently working on a bedtime series inspired by her children and can’t wait to share a new world of silly adventures.
