Jared C. Cramer

Jared C. Cramer was raised in the Churches of Christ (a cappella) but moved into the Episcopal Church while completing his Master of Divinity at the Graduate School of Theology of Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX. He then received his Anglican training through the completion of a Master of Sacred Theology at the School of Theology of the University of the South in Sewanee, TN. He later received a Doctor of Ministry from the same institution. He is currently a student at the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame, pursuing an Executive Master's degree in Nonprofit Administration. He is a priest in the Episcopal Church. His first call was as a clergy resident at Historic Christ Church in Alexandria, VA. He now serves as the rector of St. John's Episcopal Church in Grand Haven, MI. He served as a founding member and for many years on the Provincial Council of the Society of Catholic Priests in the Episcopal Church and the Anglican Church of Canada. Appointed by the Churchwide Office, he also spent several years representing The Episcopal Church in ecumenical conversations at the Faith & Order Commission of the National Council of Churches. He resides in Grand Haven with his wife, Bethany, their daughter, Lucy, and their dog, Maisie.
