Jasmine Embrechts

Jasmine Embrechts was born in Tilburg, the Netherlands and grew up in nearby Dongen with her parents and two sisters. At eighteen she left home for a High School Year in Cincinnati, Ohio, followed by studying acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City. She has also lived in Sydney, Wellington, London and the Bay Area, California. She has acted in film, television, theatre and more, and has been an Outreach Co-ordinator for the UK Film Festival since 2011. In 2021 and 2022 she was a judge for the Cine Circle Women’s Film Festival. Her book The Active Actor: a Call to Action for the Actor Between Jobs was written to inspire the actor to keep going and working on their craft when confidence might be affected between acting gigs.
