Jason Bond

Originally hailing from Kennebunkport, Maine, Jason discovered a love for Celtic mythology at a young age. This led to an Honors degree in Celtic Studies and Scottish Gaelic in Nova Scotia, Canada. While working as a Secondary Teacher of Gaelic in Scotland, Jason saw that Gaelic language learners had little in the way of pleasure reading. If they were aware of the old stories, their access to them was limited to English translations. Thus, a strong intention was born: to help learners become aware of and enjoy deeper Gaelic culture through the Gaelic language. These days, Jason works as a freelance Gaelic teacher and teacher trainer. He is also writing a series of learners' novels inspired by the tales that kindled his love for Gaelic years ago.
