Jason Emerson

Jason Emerson is an independent historian and journalist living near Syracuse, NY. He is the author or editor of eight books of American history, has published numerous articles and reviews in both scholarly and popular publications, and has appeared on multiple television programs, including on Book TV, American History TV, and The History Channel. He has worked as a National Park Service park ranger at the Lincoln Home National Historic Site and the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial (the Arch) in St. Louis, and as an SCA volunteer at Gettysburg National Military Park.
