Jathan Sadowski

Jathan Sadowski is based in the Emerging Technologies Research Lab at Monash University. He is a renowned expert on the political economy of technology—or the study of how social power and the pursuit of profit deeply influence why technologies are created and how they impact our lives. Jathan is a regular commentator on pressing topics like artificial intelligence, where he combines clear explainers of how these technologies operate with critical analysis of what they mean for society.
