Jay Nielsen

Jay Nielsen, born November 1949 the third of thirteen children. Raised in rural Utah on a twenty acre farm where I learned the value of hard work and family responsibility. I learned that I could achieve anything if I worked at it and listened to those with experience. I have been in the construction field for over forty years, worked through out the western states on everything from a gas station to historic restoration. In the south pacific I got an education in boundaries, water and land that is. I have spent nearly the entire time as a contractor self employed or as a site superintendent. In my work I have lived in over 30 locations and raised six children with my wife of forty one years, wife and children in tow.
