Jean Barbre

Jean Barbre, Ed.D. has over 25 years in the field of early care and education. For over the 25 years, she has designed early care classrooms, managed preschool programs, coached administrators, and trained early care and education providers. Jean also teaches early childhood courses at both the community college and California State University system. In the past five years, she has focused her conference trainings exclusively on STEM education in early education program. She trains on STEM at a variety of conferences including National Association for the Education for Young Children, California Association for the Education for Young Children, Early Childhood STEM Conference, and the Orange County STEM Conference. Jean has a doctorate degree from Pepperdine University, a Master of Science School of Counseling, a Master of Art Consumer Studies - Child and Families Studies, and a Bachelor of Science in Child Development. In 2013, she published two books through Redleaf Press: Foundations of Responsive Caregiving Infants, Toddlers, and Twos and Activities for Responsive Caregiving Infants, Toddlers, and Twos. Jean is passionate about sharing her knowledge and expertise on young children with others and promoting the health and well-being of all children.
