Jeanette Menter was born in Munich, Germany and spent most of her youth in a small town in Ohio. She was raised in a highly dysfunctional home rife with addiction and codependency. After moving to California to escape a terrifying abusive relationship, she began a life-long journey of self-discovery which led to the writing of her first book, "You're Not Crazy-You're Codependent." Succinct and interactive, it contains new material for readers including how to use mindfulness to gradually change their thinking and behavior. Also, new methods of treatment for unresolved trauma are included. Jeanette's easy-going style will make readers feel she is speaking directly to them. "In peeling back the onion of my own story, I know now that there isn't a point where you're 'fixed.' Its a continual process of revelation, relapse and renewal." An admitted late bloomer, she received her Bachelor's (Cum Laude) from Indiana Wesleyan in 2007 with a focus on Communications. Jeanette enjoys life with her husband, John in Las Vegas, as well two daughters, son-in-law and three grandchildren.
