Jeanette Smerina

Hello! I am excited to release my first book, "Cozy Kitchen Allergy Friendly Cooking." It's a cookbook I wrote, designed and self-published in response to my husband's recently diagnosed food allergies and intolerances. For the past 20 years-plus, I have been a feature news writer and editor, producing creative editorial, ad development and other revenue-creation solutions. My prior experience includes working as a magazine feature columnist, and as freelance writer. In 2024, I launched a media and production company, Umbrella Sky, not only to spearhead my book, but to help other budding self-publishers and go-getters. I enjoy spending time at home with my husband, two children, my freckled pup, and boisterous parakeet. When I'm not clicking away on on my laptop, I often can be found whipping up delicious recipes for my family, engaging in various crafting projects, watching 80's movies with my daughter, or enjoying the activities around town.
