Jennifer Delaney

Jennifer Delaney is an illustrator based in Derry, Northern Ireland. She published her first colouring book Life Under the Lens in 2017. Her book explores the beauty of the microscopic world through colouring. Her second book, Apollo 11 colouring, published for the 50th anniversary of the first moon landings looks at the build up, construction, crew and the historic first moon landing. In 2022, Jennifer published her third colouring book, this time with an Irish publishing company, Gill Books. This disctive colouring book explores the beauty of the microscopic world, from vaccines and viruses to protozoa, algae, seeds, pollen and invertebrates. In 2025 Jennifer launched her Easy Peasy colouring book series. The series includes the titles Funky Florals and Seaside Escapes. These books are designed for a younger audience, with heavy bold lines making them easy peasy to colour. Jennifer uses both art and science as a means to investigate and make sense of the world in which we live. She delivers colouring workshops to engage the young and old with science topics such as microscopy, botany and astronomy.
