Jennifer A. Harvey

Jennifer Harvey was born in Fairbanks, Alaska, but considers Scottsdale, Arizona, her hometown. She obtained a B.S. degree from Northern Arizona University and an M.D. degree from the University of Arizona. She completed her diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Arizona, where she served as Chief Resident. She joined the faculty of the University of Virginia, where she is a Professor of Radiology, Chief of Breast Imaging, and Co-Director of the UVa Breast Care Program. She has received numerous awards including the President's Award for Resident Research from the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Sharon Kohlenberger Clinical Service Award from the Virginia Breast Cancer ;Foundation, and the Sharon Hostler Women's Leadership Award from the University of Virginia. She has been on the Best Doctors list since 2009. Dr. Harvey is a well-known, passionate, educator. She is a faculty member of the American Institute of Radiologic Pathology. She has lectured world-wide- from Turkey to Thailand. Her approach is practical and straight forward.
