Jennifer Hochschild is H.L. Jayne Professor of Government, and Professor of African and African American Studies, at Harvard University. She was Chair of Harvard's Government Department in 2016-2019, and President of the American Political Science Association in 2016-2017. In addition to _Genomic Politics_ (2021), recent (co-authored) books include _Do Facts Matter: Information and Misinformation in American Politics_ (2015), and _Creating a New Racial Order: How Immigration, Multiracialism, Genomics, and the Young Can Remake Race in America_ (2012). Hochschild lives with her husband and two cats, is an avid (but not very good) rower, loves opera (but can't carry a tune), and has been baking her grandmother's oatmeal rolls since her co-op days at Oberlin College.
