Jennifer Loy

Jennifer Loy is Professor of Digital Business Innovation, in the department of Business Strategy and Innovation at Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia, and product designer by training and at heart! Jen's passion on the potential of 3D printing for product designers began when the technology became accessible in 2010 and became an obsession. She has championed designing with 3D printing, informed by a technical understanding of designing for additive manufacturing (DfAM). Jen has built designers' expertise across multiple design and engineering programs, and worked with organisations to develop strategies to successfully integrate and maximise the technology. Her aim is to support product designers and businesses through the challenges and opportunities of designing in a digital era.
