Jennifer McCartney

Jennifer McCartney is the New York Times bestselling author of numerous books. These include The Joy of Series (W.W. Norton) and the Animal Philosophy Series (HarperCollins UK) as well as the humorous handbook, So You Want to Move to Canada, Eh? (Running Press). In addition to non-fiction, she has published one novel, Afloat (Hamish Hamilton). She has written about utopias, time machines, and train travel for outlets like BBC Radio 4, The Atlantic, Architectural Digest, Vice, Teen Vogue, Curbed, and CBC. Originally from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, she has lived in Ohio, Michigan, South Carolina, Utah, New Jersey, and Glasgow, Scotland. She currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
