Jennifer Meisenbacher

Jennifer Meisenbacher-Molzen, the creator, and owner of Tick Tackler is no stranger to Lyme disease. It is this battle that inspired her to create and grow her successful business. She has observed firsthand how a tick-borne disease impacts someone including her family and pets This strongly motivated her to educate herself and make her yard safer for her pets and family. Her unique perspective allowed her to finetune her strategies and relate to those similarly impacted. This is what drove her to start her business, Tick Tackler over 17 years ago. She focuses on the major reduction of tick presence and client education. By bridging these two concepts, she has created an effective business model that provides individualized programs. Her favorite customers consist of families, veterinarians, physicians, beekeepers, schools, horse farms and doggy daycares. Other than her kids, Jennifer’s biggest accomplishment is helping others put together the puzzle pieces and create an impactful game plan to drastically reduce tick activity. Being a mother of two, afforded her the blessing of volunteering her time with groups such as, the local environmental commission, girl scouts, boy scouts, recreational sports, school programs, religious education, running veteran fundraisers and animal rescue. These opportunities allowed Jennifer to look at tick activity through the lens of different human and pet activity. Though 3 major factors make up a formula for tick presence, her volunteering throughout the years has allowed her to identify many more variables and this is what helps her to tackle ticks. She has built a Tick Tackler team that includes horticulturalists, beekeepers, organic gardeners, and parents to both children and fuzzy kids. To date, our team has treated over 10,000 properties in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is her first book.
