Ever since I was a child, I've loved writing. It was something that always came natural to me. My mission is to create fun and engaging stories that inspire children to explore the world around them and use their imagination. I believe that reading is an essential part of every child's development, and I hope to encourage a lifelong love of books through my stories. I hope that my books can encourage children to follow their dreams, no matter how big or small. The inspiration for "The Adventures of Penny and Poppy" came from the 16 years of adventures my four-legged best friend, Molly, and I shared together. Poppy was designed after her! Molly and I lived a life full of adventure, travels, and she was there for all the dreams I accomplished in my life. I am the founder (est. 2012) of a dance studio in the Chicago suburbs and have been a dance educator since 1999. I am passionate about teaching dance and the many life lessons it instills in dancers of all ages. That is where the inspiration for the first book in the series "Poppy Goes to Dance Class" came from!
