Jeramie Eginoire is a firefighter who loves to travel. He currently serves as fire lieutenant at a metro fire department and is the creator of The Wandering Firefighter, a family-friendly travel vlog and travel blog with content about places and people from around the world. As someone who has an insatiable desire for adventure and travel, Jeramie feels fortunate to have avenues that provide both. Prior to joining the fire service, Jeramie attended Northwest Missouri State University (#oabaab) where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education, double minoring in Speech and Public Relations. Later in his career, Jeramie earned a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Waldorf University. He also maintains a state paramedic license. Jeramie lives in Carlisle, Iowa with his wife, BrieAnn, and their three daughters. He is an active member of the community and enjoys serving others. His most recent endeavor is to bring a chapter of Folds of Honor to the state of Iowa to help serve the families of veterans and first responders who have been killed or disabled. A portion from every sale of "How Travel Has Made Me Less of a Jerk" will be donated to Folds of Honor to provide educational scholarships for the families of our nation’s heroes. The motto of The Wandering Firefighter is “Die with memories, not dreams”, a concept and credo that is very important to Jeramie. His hope is that he can encourage others to have a similar outlook in their own lives. He also enjoys ice cream way too much, but he’s working on that.
