Thanks for stopping by! My name is Jesse Blanco, I am author of Savannah Food Crawls and Charleston Food Crawls. For the last 12 years, I have been a Savannah based food writer enjoying all that our food scene has become on the Georgia coast. In that time, my travels have taken me all over the South where I have met some amazing people and eaten some amazing food all in hopes of satisfying a natural curiosity about food in the South-not to be confused with Southern food. Before my time as a food writer, I was a TV news anchor for two decades. Living (and eating) in places like Fort Myers, Florida, Nashville, Tennessee and El Paso, Texas. Throw in my roots from my hometown of Miami and you've got the makings of a pretty good party on paper. Which is what I hope my books can be.
