Jessica Fortenberry

Jessica Fortenberry was born in Tennessee and grew up in Japan, where her adventures as a missionary kid form the basis of her writing. When her son was eight weeks old, she had a stroke, so life as a mother has not been what she had hoped--God made it even better. She uses her life in Japan and her experiences with brain damage to influence her stories, sharing comfort and peace to those who have suffered great loss. She now lives in Alabama with her husband, son, and mixed-breed mutt, volunteering in the community and at her church.
