Jessica Olien

Jessica is the author and illustrator of the Blobfish Book Shark Detective, and Adrift, Right Now, A Tiger is Coming to Dinner (2019) and Sincerely, Buster all with Balzer+Bray. She is also the illustrator of Hamsters Don't Fight Fires, which will be published by HarperCollins. Jessica's cartoons and illustrations have been published in the New Yorker, Spiralbound, the Hairpin, Condé Nast Traveler and the New York Observer. Before becoming a children's book maker Jessica worked as a journalist and lived in Egypt, Thailand and the Netherlands.
