Jessica Segarra

Jessica Segarra is the author-baker-cook-photographer behind The Novice Chef (www.thenovicechefblog.com). She grew up in the kitchen, sandwiched between her grandmother, who specializes in true Cajun gumbo; and her mother, who eats frosting with a giant spoon. Jessica was born and raised in Texas, but lives in Tampa, Florida with her husband Jorge, their twin girls and five rescue pets.
