Jihan Mohammed

Jihan Mohammed, Ph.D., is a sociologist studying racial, ethnic, and religious identities. She is a faculty lecturer at Vanderbilt University and has published academic articles on Kurds and the Kurdish identity. This is her first children's book, aimed at educating children about the Kurdish diaspora in the United States, their culture, and their identity.
