Jim Shaver

Jim Shaver was born in 1961 on Camp Pendleton, the Marine Corps base in Oceanside, CA. Jim continues to reside in Oceanside, CA with his wife of over thirty years, Denise. He has two grown children, and three granddaughters. Jim has been telling stories for as long as he can remember. He has written and directed over ten short films. Jim has Written and staged over twenty stage plays at his home church. His screenplay, The Demise of Darkness was nominated for best screenplay at the 2019 International Christian Film Festival + Music Festival in Orlando, FL. The novel for The Demise of Darkness was published in January 2021. His next book, Jack's Journey, a children's chapter book is currently being illustrated and will soon be published. The second book in The Evans Grove Chronicles will be published spring of 2021.
