Jimmi-Ann Carnes Muse

Jimmi-Ann Carnes Muse is an author, playwright, actor, educator, visual artist, and motivational speaker. Stage 4 to Center Stage! is her first book; it offers optimism and hope in the face of the darkest diagnoses. She adopted established and unconventional approaches to defeat terminal cancer and hopes her success urges others to do the same. She is a master teacher with forty-one years of experience teaching theater arts, playwriting, Shakespeare, language arts, language dramatics, visual arts, and Multiple Intelligences. She also facilitates Laughter Yoga and SoulCollage® workshops; she enjoys various art forms, especially stained glass, watercolors, and jewelry making. Jimmi-Ann lives in South Carolina with David, her husband, and their tabby cat, Gomer, who rescued them. Jimmi-Ann has always enjoyed writing and authored countless plays for her young actors to perform during her teaching career. Family is of the utmost importance to the couple, and happily, their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren all live nearby. Renowned for her larger-than-life personality and wonderfully infectious laughter, her most sincere wish is for her readers to understand: If one person can achieve the impossible, every one of us is in the position to do the same.
