Jo Ann Walczak

Jo Ann Jones Walczak has lived most of her life on Layton Road in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Teaching junior high English and high school journalism for thirty years gave her a powerful mission. A single mom of two sons, she raised her boys on family, faith, and camping, traveling with them to almost every national park in the United States with a Coleman two-burner and a pup tent. When the boys were grown, Jo Ann set off across the world to teach for a year in China. She returned there several times to work in an orphanage. Leading Bible studies for women in her church—and now writing this, her debut book—has been her passion. Time with her six grandchildren is her greatest joy.
