Jo Narron

关于作者

Jo Narron has spent her life creating art without interruption. Today she lives on the outskirts of a state park, and has her studio among the trees which affords her many opportunities. Narron's surroundings influence her subject matter rather it being art on the trails, constructing environments in her yard, or art created in the studio. Many of Narron's subject matter are painted or drawn in realism and surrealism styles of art. Another recent accomplishment is Jo illustrated her first book, The Adventures of Henry Yeager. In 2024, Jo created her first immersive art scene, Ammunition, that is featured in The Spotlights in the Arts produced by Rick Jey, and appears on YouTube. Narron's choice of media varies as she considers whether watercolor, oil, acrylic or pen and ink would best express what she wants to achieve when creating art. Jo's education includes a BSE in Art Education, and a MA in Art with an emphasis in painting. She also studied painting under the acclaimed artist, Bob Byerley. Narron's art is in many private collections. Her works have been exhibited in many juried shows both in state and out of state plus one and two person shows around the Midwest.
