Joan Graff Clucas

Joan Graff Clucas was born in Denver, Colorado, is a graduate of Washington High in Los Angeles, and Biola University in La Mirada, California. She taught elementary school in La Mirada and Alta Loma, CA for forty years. She has been married to Don Clucas for fifty years and is the mother of three grown children, and grandmother of three. She enjoys reading, writing, and adding to her life experiences. She has four books; Mother Teresa, We All Love Dr. Virginia, a children's book about Dr. Virginia Kauffman, missionary to Africa, Still in a School Daze, a look inside her teaching career, including ups and downs and what she learned from those memorable days, and her newest, A Quarter's Worth of Trust, a fictionalized account of a real field trip into Los Angeles, She shares her present day thoughts and activities in her blog, Friendjoanie. Now living in San Marcos, California with Don,her husband of 51 years, she gets to the ocean as often as possible, and enjoys keeping in touch with loved ones.
