
Specialized in improving companies, universities and civil society organizations as a strategist, specialist in corporate governance, total quality, organizational change and communication, knowledge management and renewal of corporate culture. I have led consulting processes for more than 80 companies, including 14 of the 50 largest companies in Mexico. I studied Classical Literature and Philosophy at the Society of Jesus. Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Relations at the Ibero (UIA). Master's Degree in Human Development. I have studied two diplomas: one at CIESAS/UNAM, in Mayan Culture and Civilization; another, in Literary Studies, at the UIA, plus three extensive courses on Essays at the FCE, Casa Clavigero and El Colegio de Jalisco. Member of the Board of the American Productivity and Quality Center APQC, Houston, TX, the most prestigious organization in the USA specialized in Quality and Knowledge Management (the only Latin American). My main professional contribution has been the creation of the Mexican National Quality Award (PNC) in 1989, the first quality award in the world to include a social responsibility criterion. I founded and directed the Fundación Mexicana para la Calidad Total A. C. (FUNDAMECA), as the main research and promotion organization for a culture of quality in the country, with a Board of Directors made up of some of the most important businessmen in the country, plus top government economic officials academics and union leaders.
