Jodi Fernandez

Jodi Fernandez, a passionate educator for the past 20 years on both the high school and undergraduate college levels, is a writer and the founder and Executive Director of Diasporic Dreams: An Edutainment Experience Corporation. She is deeply committed to antiracism, social justice and teaching truth to power. Jodi holds a bachelors degree in Communications, and masters degrees in both English and Education. Through her community-based, education through entertainment performance organization, she uses the arts as a conduit of social justice: “Art is the sweetness needed to accompany the medicine that this world so desperately needs to heal from its greatest ailment, injustice.”
