Jodie Paula Cohen

关于作者

Jodie Paula Cohen is a dancer, writer, nature walker, traveller and baker. She has spent many years living in Mexican mountain towns - eating diced cactus and steamed corn dumplings, drinking fermented agave sap and spicy hot chocolate, watching the danzantes stamp their bare feet on the baking ground and shimmer feathered headdresses to the beat of a drum. Alongside this idyll, she has also seen so much nature and culture be tamped down by cookie-cutter land development, and so many rivers and reservoirs be polluted by big business or run dry through overuse. At a time when large swathes of our world are being privatised and built upon, Under the Todo Tree is a call for us to take care of the land we walk and live on. It is a reminder that - even if we feel helpless at times - we can all step into our power, stand up for what we believe in, and change the world for the better. Jodie Paula lives between the UK and Mexico with her husband, two sons and two dogs. Follow her on Instagram @jodiepaulaauthor
