Joe McVeigh

JOE McVEIGH (www.joemcveigh.org) is a specialist in English language teaching. For more than 30 years he has taught at universities in the U.S. including Cal State LA, Caltech, the University of Southern California, Middlebury College, the Bread Loaf School of English, and Saint Michael's College. He has lived and worked in countries including China, India, Chile, Saudi Arabia, and Hungary. He has taught students from more than 50 countries and served as an English language specialist for the U.S. Department of State. He is a specialist in curriculum development and accreditation for intensive English language programs and has twice served on the Board of Directors of the TESOL International Association. In addition to writing, he consults for organizations, provides professional development workshops, speaks at conferences, and maintains a website on issues of interest to English language teachers.
