John Burns

While in seminary, Fr. Burns was deeply affected by the writings of St. Francis de Sales. Lift Up Your Heart adapts the teachings of de Sales for use in personal prayer, spiritual direction, or small group discussions. The book is designed to serve as a starting point for those who haven't yet fully committed to living for heaven each and every day as well as for those who find that their spiritual lives have been stalled by distraction, busyness, and lack of zeal. Fr. Burns donates all proceeds from Lift Up Your Heart to St. Francis de Sales Seminary in St. Francis, WI to support the formation of future priests.
