John Butler

Born country boy and farmer, with a longing for God – John Butler has led an extraordinarily interesting but largely unknown life, recorded only in notes, diaries, letters etc which, for many years lay, half-forgotten in the cupboard - until he published his first books, ‘Wonders of Spiritual Unfoldment’ in 2008 at the age of 71, and ‘Mystic Approaches’ in 2012. Then … Unexpectedly, in 2017, he was interviewed on Conscious TV which, to his surprise, was well received. Encouraged to make further videos and open a Youtube channel called ‘Spiritual Unfoldment’, this now, after 3 years, has attracted 13 million views and over 120,000 subscribers. With such unforeseen interest in his work, and the present day need for spiritual direction, John continued writing and, now, in 2021 has published another six books.
