John C. Schneidervin

Rev. JC, as he refers to himself in his literary works, graduated from Bethany Lutheran College, Mankato, MN. He then studied at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, Mequon, WI, from which he graduated with honors and a master’s degree . Upon his ordination he first served as a parish pastor of Rock Of Ages Ev. Lutheran Church and as a home missionary in Kansas City North, MO. He then accepted a call to serve as the pastor of Crown Of Life Ev. Lutheran Church, Hubertus, WI, which was a mission congregation at the time. During this time he wrote many Bible studies and Christian materials for his congregations, which included an adult Bible instruction course entitled Your Word Is Truth. He was asked to be a contributing writer to a volume of sermon studies and also to the Meditations periodical. As a part of his ministry he spent a great deal of time in counseling, especially premarital and marital counseling. He wrote and then conducted for several years free marriage enrichment seminars as a service to couples. He also wrote materials for conducting premarital and marital counseling sessions with couples. He was asked to present to his fellow pastors at their seminars papers on how to conduct biblically sound premarital and marital counseling. He then wrote Deepening Love For Marital Happiness, which was published by Northwestern Publishing House in 1992. During the author’s years in the active ministry he also created the Christian Inconnect website, which was about the first Christian website to go up on the internet, and for which he wrote all of its materials. He retired to take care of his wife who was severely handicapped by multiple sclerosis. During his retirement he started and then administered for ten years a Sunday School Mission Ministry in Pakistan. In connection with that foreign missionary work and to aid the Pakistani Christians he simplified the language of his adult instruction course mentioned above. It was then translated into the Urdu language of Pakistan and afterwards into Nepali of neighboring Nepal by the Christian leaders of those countries. It is now the favorite course of Christian instruction of thousands of adult Christians in both countries. He also translated The New Testament – Vivid English Translation. Having had forty-one years of theological and ministerial experience, he now turns to publishing some of his biblical Christian works as well as writing more for publication. He does so, not as a representative of any church body, but as an independent writer and publisher.
