Back in 2000, I developed a passion for teaching guitar after I started teaching my own kids. It got me back into music after taking a long break. From there, I began teaching others, playing in church bands, and making useful books and online courses. It's been a fun journey! To be the best teacher I could be, I took lessons from music experts and earned a Music Theory Certificate from Berklee College Online. Drawing from my teaching experiences, I authored the "Guitar in Real Time" series, comprising three books that delve into various music styles, reading notation, music theory, and crafting straightforward melodies. These are the very books I employ with my students, and I continually refine them based on my ongoing experiences.
