John D. Laing is a professor of theology, philosophy, and ethics, a Southern Baptist minister, and a chaplain in the United States Army National Guard. His research interests include the doctrines of God, Trinity, Christ, salvation, and eschatology (the end); Constitutional Law and its impact on religion in the public square; and practical ministry and care at the end of life. While John enjoys the life of the mind, his greatest joy in life is found in his relationships, most importantly with his God, and then with his wife, Stefana, and his three children, Sydney, Sophia, and Alasdair.
