John David Buell

John David Buell is an author, illustrator, and screenwriter living in Los Angeles. He has been a storyteller since the age of 6, when he would sneak out of bed late at night to write and illustrate picture books about his favorite monster, Godzilla. (He wrote 30 of these books in a span of two years... looking back, he admits he was a little obsessed.) He believes that everyone, and everything, is CONNECTED - in fun, beautiful, and often invisible ways - and that there is a flame in each of us just waiting to be ignited. After earning a bachelor's degree at Northwestern University, he moved to the west coast, where he is spreading his vision of an empowered, compassionate, and unified world.
