John Davis

关于作者

John Davis is a runner, writer, and scholar. He was born in Minnesota, where he competed as a distance runner both in high school and college. Trained as a scientist, he now writes, speaks, and conducts research on training, racing, and running injuries while coaching at a local high school. His blog, RunningWritings.com, provides detailed analysis of training philosophies, scientific treatments for injury, and insights into training and racing. By immersing himself in training literature and running countless miles, John Davis worked his way up from being a back-of-the-pack JV runner to becoming one of the top varsity athletes in high school, then went on to lead Carleton College's track and cross country teams, all while continuing to read and experiment with different training approaches. His passion now is in sharing the training wisdom he garnered throughout the years and helping other runners race faster, improve more, and avoid injury.
