Dr. Harnish is a retired United Methodist pastor, author and preacher who has traveled the world on behalf of the United Methodist Church. Jack and his wife Judy live in beautiful northern Michigan. (Just don't confuse him with his prolific author and twin brother James A. Harnish!) He writes a weekly "Monday Memo" at www.jackharnish.wordpress.com and is a frequent contributor to the Michigan United Methodist news magazine MIConnect and the Benzie County Record Patriot Newspaper. In 2019 he received the Donn Doten Award for Excellence in writing from the United Methodist Communicators Association. His newest book, released in January, 2022, is "Thirty Days With E. Stanley Jones", a set of readings reflecting on the life and work of one of the greatest missionaries and advocates for social justice of the 20th Century.
