As an actor, John Franklin is best known for his iconic role of Isaac in the cult classic: “Stephen King’s Children of the Corn.” John also was a fan favorite, Cousin Itt in both of the “The Addams Family” movies and has numerous film, T.V. and theatre credits. Writing plays throughout high school and college, John wrote his first professional Equity produced play for a Chicago Children’s Theatre. John was honored to co-write for Dimension Films the screenplay for “Children of the Corn 666: Isaac’s Return.” John and his writing partner, Tim Sulka, also saw the publishing and release of “Prime Cuts,” their graphic novel based upon the Sweeny Todd legend. But in this version, chopped up people aren’t put in meat pies – but on pizza! Volume 2 of “Prime Cuts” has also been released and is getting great reviews. John still gets to meet his fans as he is flown around the world to horror conventions. And now as “Corn” celebrates its 40th anniversary, it is awesome to see a new generation brought to his table by their parents – who once saw “Corn” as kids. Ah, the circle of life. And Moms and Dads don’t forget to lock your bedroom door! We sincerely hope you enjoy the adventures of Sean and Lester in "Funeral for a Friend." They deserve to be shared. Maybe in Volume 4, Sean moves to LA and gets cast in a horror movie!
