John J. Duffy

Major John J.Duffy is one of America's most decorated soldiers. His first three books: Warman, Peaceman, Sageman, discribe the author's experience in the Vietnam War. Major Duffy Served with Special Forces, Special Operations, and the Vietnamese Paratroopers. He served four separate tours in the war zone and fought in the most intense battle's of the war. His flying missions took him over the Ho Chi Minh Trail where he flew extraction, recon and rescue missions. During the Easter Offensive of 1972, Major Duffy was tasked as advisor to a Vietnamese Airborne Battalion. Commited with 471 paratrooper, after two weeks of intense battle, he escaped with 37 survivors. Among Major Duffy's sixty-plus decorations are the Distinguished Service Cross, his nation's second highest award for valor, and eight Purple Hearts for wounds recieved in action. His Bush Chronicles discribes the American entry into the second Iraqi War. Chromosome 23 is a story about me and all the rest of us. It delves into the "XX" and the "XY" chromosome.
